Peter started at the College in 1959, and after the breakdown of his parents’ marriage, he relied on a bursary to complete his schooling. Peter was highly influenced by his Jesuit education and credits it for the values and ethics that he practises in his life even today. After graduating, he went on to work for IBM for 37 years as one of their top executives. Currently, he lives in Connecticut with his family but continues to significantly support the Bursary Program.
“The best thing for me was being part of a community… [that was] vibrant, stimulating and a lot of fun. Coming to Riverview has made my life beyond what I expected, and it was all due to the bursary. I’m hoping that I can contribute to someone else’s life in a positive way, so they enjoy what I enjoyed in the community of Riverview.”
